1.975 Run: Road to Resilience
The Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation's Annual 1.975 Run is back! Last year, you and all of our supporters collectively raised over $23,000 for local organizations doing great work in their communities. This year, we're hoping to raise even more in support of local grassroots organizations working to help their communities on the Road to Resilience.
Throughout the last year, the dual pandemics of COVID-19 and racial injustice left many of us feeling tired and depleted. But we know, like so many times before, we can rise up. The definition of resilient is to be able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions. We know our community and supporters are resilient. Join us on the Road to Resilience as we stand up for our communities, our loved ones, and ourselves.
How to Get Involved!
Sign up as an individual participant or join a team! It takes only 60 seconds to sign up! For every additional $10 donation on top of your registration fee, you'll be entered to win one of TWENTY LTA Foundation swag bags.
Once you sign up, you can begin fundraising and invite others to join your team!

Organizations Your Funds Will Be Supporting:
We received overwhelming support from our donors last year when we decided to pivot our theme for the Run to support Black-led and Black Community enrichment focused organizations. In the spirit of continuing the efforts to uplift our communities through various avenues and build Resilience, we have decided to again, allocate the proceeds from the 1.975 Run to organizations already engaging in enrichment initiatives for vulnerable and underrepresented communities. We intend to uplift, support, and aid these communities by strengthening the capacities of organizations already doing social justice work.
We are so appreciative of all those who submitted nominations or voted on our selections. We're excited to announce that the organizations below will be the recipients of this year's 1.975 Run grants:
